Cannabis, The Culture + You

CannAAfrika is the premier resource for cannabis culture told from a global multicultural  perspective.

Recognizing a need for diversity and inclusion within the cannabis industry is what led Sydney Hall and Chris Isaacs to create CannAAfrika in 2019. While most of the world is looking at the US as they legalize state-by-state, and make medical and scientific advances, it’s easy to forget that Black and Brown entrepreneurs around the globe are often being left out of this narrative.

With that in mind, we curated this space to represent us and the multicultural perspective. Here is where we celebrate the culture, provide you with insight to succeed, and keep your finger on the pulse of this evolving industry.

Our stories WILL be told.

The CannAAfrika Team

Chris Issacs - Canna Afrika

Chris Isaacs

As Co-Founder of CannAAfrika Chris Isaacs brings over 20 years of knowledge and love to the table as a cannabis enthusiast, lobbyist, advocate and entrepreneur. His global experience in cannabis, small business and strategy consulting has inspired a vision for shaping the narrative of cannabis. Having lived in Africa + US his entire life, Chris strongly believes spaces must be created for the myriad of stories Africa and Africans in the diaspora have inspired to tell surrounding cannabis. With that in mind, he co-created CannAAfrica to showcase cannabis through the lens of one of the most culturally rich places on earth. His ability to connect, lead, and innovate is essential to the growth and expansion of the CannAAfrika brand and Africa as a 21st century global leader in the global cannabis movement.

Sydney Hall - Canna Afrika

Sydney Hall

With over 25 years of experience in marketing and cannabis, Sydney Hall brings his love of cultivation, manufacturing, and media to the CannAAfrika team. Sydney experienced firsthand the rich and robust continent of Africa while living in South Africa for over 10 years. While there, he developed a deeper appreciation for the African cannabis culture. As the Co-Founder and Chief Strategist for CannAAfrika, Sydney’s insight and leadership is key to positioning the brand for dominance in the global cannabis industry.
